VELLUM ARCHIVE – RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Returns and EU right of withdrawal

As Vellum Archive offers a curated selection of rare and pre-owned designer pieces, each item is unique. However, customers purchasing online who are covered by EU consumer law have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal or request a cancellation, please use our Return and Cancellation Request through your customer account.

Return conditions

Returned items must be:

In the same condition as received
Unworn and unused beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item
Returned with all original tags, packaging and accessories, where applicable

As our pieces are pre-owned, any pre-existing wear or condition details disclosed in the product description are not considered damage caused by the customer.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping when exercising the 14-day right of withdrawal. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

Damaged, incorrect or significantly misdescribed items

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us as soon as possible at client@vellumarchive.com if your item is defective, damaged in transit, you receive the wrong item, or the item is significantly not as described.

Where the issue is our responsibility, we will provide return instructions and cover the applicable return shipping costs.

In-store purchases

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal described above applies to eligible online purchases and does not apply to purchases completed in person at our physical store.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you.

Where you validly exercise your EU right of withdrawal, the applicable refund will be made to your original payment method in accordance with applicable consumer law.

For other approved returns, refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been inspected.

Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time after the refund has been issued.
